Konami has begun rolling out Update for Metal Gear Solid Deltai 1.2.1, across PC, PS5, and Xbox. The headline change is the arrival of the online multiplayer mode Fox Hunt, along with a handful of performance tweaks and bug fixes. Fox Hunt is now live for players who receive the update. The update notes reference Steam News for additional Fox Hunt details and include screenshots of 16:9 and 21:9 layouts. The release also calls out that some cutscenes and menus remain locked to 16:9 even if your display is ultrawide.

- *On certain screens – such as cutscenes and menu displays – the aspect ratio will be locked to 16:9 regardless of your system settings or display environment.
- *Some UI elements will remain positioned as they are in the 16:9 layout.
- Improved overall performance stability.
- Resolved an issue where background music would not play during certain cutscenes.
- Fixed a timing mismatch between user actions and background music ending.
- Corrected an issue that occasionally prevented specific actions by Raikov from triggering.
- Implemented minor bug fixes and general adjustments.
