Manor Lords is still in motion, with Major Update #6 now on the main branch and a separate beta track still getting work. The game is also part of Hooded Horse’s Summer Sale at 35% off.
That update added a third burgage plot level with new models, requirements, and effects, then moved the old level three look to level four with its own changes. It also switched settlement progress to a family-based system, introduced the Twin Lakes map, and adjusted battles so squads are easier to read while the active combat area shrinks through a proximity system.
The beta branch has kept the tuning going. Version 0.8.078 focused on pathfinding, fewer unit collisions, and an island rule that blocks routes between enclosed zones such as manor castles, while 0.8.083 added more collision fixes, a loading animation for handcarts, and pasture spacing based on area instead of wall length. The current test build, 0.8.086, reworked the cart system, addressed rare worker-stuck cases, and temporarily lets players select buildings that end up inside the Manor area until town walls are ready.
Manor Lords has had a steady run of updates, and the beta branch shows the work is still moving. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram for more gaming news.
