EA Play members will be able to try EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL 27 starting August 6, with up to 10 hours available through the membership’s advanced-access trial. New members can join for $0.99 during their first month, according to EA’s Steam announcement.
The trial gives players an early look at Madden NFL 27 before its wider launch period. The promotion also calls out the game’s Persona Engine, along with an EA Play Welcome Pack and monthly Ultimate Team™ packs for members.
What EA Play includes
Beyond Madden NFL 27, EA Play provides unlimited access to a catalog of EA games from franchises such as Battlefield, F1, The Sims, and STAR WARS. Members also receive monthly rewards in EA titles and a 10% discount on EA digital purchases.
That discount applies to game downloads, College Football Points, and downloadable content. The $0.99 introductory offer is available to new members only, and EA says conditions, limitations, and exclusions apply. The full details are available in the EA Play terms.
When the Madden NFL 27 trial begins
The EA Play trial will begin on August 6. That comes before the three-day early-access period for Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle buyers, which begins August 10, as detailed in the game’s “What’s New” video announcement.
The introductory deal will end on August 18, so the lower first-month price will only be available for a limited period. Are you planning to use the trial? Tell us what you think in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram.
