Luma Island Is Bringing Its Farm and Temple Adventures to PS5

The PS5 version will support cross-platform play with Xbox Series X|S and PC, while wishlisting begins on September 24, 2026.

Luma Island is heading to PS5, giving PlayStation players a chance to build a farm, choose from eight professions, and travel through forests, mountains, jungles, caves, and ancient temples. Feel Free Games announced the console version in its PlayStation Blog announcement.

The game launched on PC in November 2024 and has since attracted more than 800,000 players. The PS5 release will support solo play, online co-op for up to 4 players, and cross-platform play with Xbox Series X|S and PC. Players can wishlist the game on the PlayStation Store as of September 24, 2026.

A farm is only the starting point

Players begin with an old caravan and a rundown farm. From there, they can build and decorate their home, grow crops, raise animals, meet townsfolk, and hatch Lumas, magical companions that join them on the journey.

Life on the island also includes caves filled with resources, ancient temples packed with puzzles and traps, hidden treasure, and Pirate Cove with its pirate-themed minigames and challenges. Fishing and farm work can fill one session, while a trip into the island’s wilder areas offers a very different pace.

PS5 players can team up across platforms

Online groups can build together, share resources, travel across the island, and take on its challenges as a team. Cross-platform play means PS5 players will be able to join friends on Xbox Series X|S and PC rather than being separated by their chosen system.

Three ways to set the pace

Luma Island includes Cozy, Adventure, and Hero difficulty modes. Cozy Mode has no combat unless players choose it, while Adventure and Hero add more challenge for those who want a tougher trip through the island.

There are no stamina bars or inventory limits, so players can spend an evening decorating, farming, or fishing without being pushed into a specific routine. When the mood changes, the same character can pick up their tools and head toward a temple or another distant area.
