Lords of the Fallen Will Support DLSS 3 and FSR 3 at Launch

CI Games has confirmed that their upcoming game, Lords of the Fallen, will support NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 and AMD’s FSR 3 technologies at launch. The game will be released on October 13th and developed by Hexworks, a studio under the CI Games umbrella. The game will offer high-quality graphics and optimized performance thanks to its support for the latest upscaling technologies.

Yesterday, NVIDIA officially announced that Lords of the Fallen will feature DLSS 3 support. This was followed by early previews from various influencers, giving us a glimpse of what the game looks like. These previews also confirmed that the game would support AMD’s FSR 3. This makes Lords of the Fallen only the second game after Immortals of Aveum to offer DLSS 3 and FSR 3.

Including both upscaling technologies gives players more options to fine-tune their gaming experience. It allows gamers to decide between native rendering and enhanced performance, making it easier for various hardware setups to run the game smoothly.

This new Lords of the Fallen version is a spiritual successor to the 2014 game and not a direct sequel. Hexworks, founded by CI Games in 2020, is the studio behind the game’s development. Although first announced back in 2014, the game has seen multiple changes and delays over the years. Despite these hurdles, the game is set to be released in just two days, and many players are looking forward to it.

The combination of DLSS 3 and FSR 3 technologies will likely make Lords of the Fallen a benchmark for future titles that aim to offer high-quality visuals and optimized performance. This means a more fluid gaming experience without compromising the graphical quality for players. It also provides more flexibility for those with less powerful hardware to enjoy the game at decent frame rates still.
