Lords of the Fallen 2 is no longer aiming for a fall 2026 launch on PS5. CI Games now has the action RPG targeting the first quarter of 2027 instead.
The game still did not have a fixed release date before this change, but the move gives the publisher more breathing room during a release calendar that is already packed. CI Games said it has been working with its Gameplay Feedback Team, a group made up of seasoned Soulslike players, and that the extra time will help the studio refine and strengthen the experience.
The publisher also said the new window places Lords of the Fallen 2 outside the holiday period, where the competition is even sharper. For now, the sequel remains a PS5 release with a 2027 target.
