Kai Cenat said LeBron James would join Mafiathon 3 and shave his head if the stream reaches 1 million Twitch subscribers. This promise, made during Cenat’s subathon push, is significant because a celebrity appearance on day 30 could draw substantial attention and increase subscriptions for the event.
Kai Cenat has pulled big names into his streams before, inviting guests such as John Cena, Kevin Hart, Nicki Minaj, and Michael B. Jordan. He even tried to have Drake appear on stream, though that plan has been paused. To start the third and final Mafiathon, Kim Kardashian appeared as a guest. The subathon remains Cenat’s signature Twitch event, centered around subscriber milestones and large-scale stunts.
During a recent segment he told viewers, “Once we hit a million, the person that will be shaving my head will be LeBron James! LeBron James! When we hit a million, LeBron James will come in on day 30,” and later added, “Not only will we have a full stream with LeBron James, but LeBron James will be the one to cut my entire hair.” He also said that if he breaks his previous record of 728,535 subscribers he will go skydiving on stream.
There is still a long way to go for the streamer to reach those numbers, and the appearance is conditional on fan support and scheduling. The plan hinges on hitting the 1 million mark and coordinating a celebrity visit on day 30. If LeBron does appear, Cenat has said the NBA star will be the one to cut his hair live. That combination of spectacle and celebrity could make the event one of Twitch’s most-watched subathons.
