Hey there, fellow trainers! So, you know that feeling when you’re just about to catch a shiny Pokémon and your buddy shouts out the date of the next big event? Well, we might have some inside info about the upcoming Pokémon Presents. Buckle up; this could get exciting!
A user recently spotted some metadata from Niantic hinting that the next Pokémon Presents will take place on February 27, 2025. That date isn’t just random, it’s Pokémon Day! Every year since 2021, there has been a special showcase on this day, so it’s pretty safe to assume they’ll stick to tradition.

If history is any guide, prepare for a whirlwind of announcements as we inch closer. Don’t expect an official word until around February 20 or so. But hey, anticipation is half the fun! What can we look forward to in this presentation? Well, judging by the title “Pokémon Presents 2025 x GO Tour: Unova Timed Research,” it seems likely that we’ll see new content for Pokémon Go. And with Pokémon Legends Z-A set for release later this year, I wouldn’t be surprised if we caught a glimpse of that, too.
Let’s not forget about the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, which made quite a splash last year. It’s bound to have its moment in the spotlight again. Plus, The Pokémon Company loves surprises, especially when celebrating their long-standing legacy as they brush off those candles for their 29th anniversary.
