League of Legends is about to get a patch that’s mostly about toning down some champions rather than boosting others. Patch 25.15 will deliver a list of nerfs targeting characters who have been causing trouble in solo queue. After a few patches that leaned into buffs, Riot Games seems to be shifting focus to make the game feel fairer for everyday players.
Competitive play has been evolving with formats like Fearless Draft, which means champions don’t dominate the pick and ban phases the same way anymore. Instead, Riot is paying more attention to how champions perform in solo queue, where players often face more varied opponents and situations. That’s why some nerfs, like those for Alistar and Pantheon, might still be aimed at pro play, but most changes will affect the broader player base.

Alistar

Passive: Prophet of an Elder God
- Tentacle damage will increase from 100% total AD to 105% total AD.
E: Test of Spirit
- Debuff duration will be shortened from 10 seconds to 3 seconds.
- The debuff will spawn tentacles whenever possible instead of using an internal cooldown.
- Tentacle slam’s internal cooldown will decrease early from 5-3 seconds to 4-3 seconds.
Irelia
- Nerfs are expected.
Kled
- Buffs are planned.
Master Yi
- Nerfs are coming.
Nilah
- Nerfs are on the horizon.
Pantheon
- Nerfs will be applied.
Quinn
- Nerfs are expected soon.
Rek’Sai
Base Stats
- Base armor will be reduced from 36 to 35.
- Armor growth per level will drop from 4.95 to 4.5.
E1: Furious Bite
- Now gains base damage of 80-192.
- AD scaling will be reduced from 100% total AD to 56% bonus AD.
- Empowered damage no longer deals 8-14% max HP.
- Empowered damage will become true damage.
- Cooldown will be reduced from 10 seconds to 7 seconds.
R: Void Rush
- Will reset W cooldown on cast.
- Base damage will be lowered from 150-450 to 150-350.
- Missing health damage scaling will decrease from 25-35% to 15-25%.
- Cooldown will increase early from 100-80 seconds to 120-80 seconds.
Rell
- Nerfs are expected.
Riven
- Buffs are planned.
