Last Epoch‘s new patch makes primordial uniques far easier to obtain, and it’s from Eleventh Hour Games. Patch 1.3.2 is out now and raises Rift Beast chances while adding several quality-of-life changes, making Season 3’s rare loot quicker to obtain across supported platforms.
Rift Beasts are the focus. Primordial uniques can now appear from Rift Beasts with a chance that scales as you stack evolutions, and endgame corruption plus Circle of Fortune alignment further boosts those odds for dedicated farmers.
Previously many primordial uniques were only available for purchase from Wengari Hunt Master Skarven Bloodthorn, which limited their thrill as surprise finds. Under 1.3.2, those items can also appear from Rift Beasts, and the chance improves as the creature evolves during a fight. Players can further raise their odds by using endgame corruption or aligning with the Circle of Fortune, so focused runs will yield results faster than before.
Several convenience changes aim to cut down on busywork and confusion. Teleporting into The Garden now provides a return portal to where players came from, and the Evolution’s End amulet will display the modifiers it grants when it summons a defeated Rift Beast to fight alongside you. The Primalist’s scorpion summon can now trigger Crater earthquakes and Rockfall stun effects created by Avalanche boulders if points are spent in that tree. Primordial materials and other currencies have clearer ground and minimap icons, and Skarven Bloodthorn’s shop order now matches inventory order.
There are also targeted bug fixes and small combat adjustments. Totems should now correctly target spires in online play, Ring of Shields won’t consume more charges than intended, Aura of Decay will display its radius correctly when attached to enemies, and spending a key to respawn in dungeons while offline will no longer sometimes put players back in town. An audio cue now plays if the player takes damage while in a full-screen menu, which helps avoid sudden deaths during long menus.
