Last Epoch’s latest hotfix 1.2.6.1 just hit, patching a few pesky problems that were messing with gameplay and connection stability. If you’ve been frustrated by loot filters resetting or random disconnects, this update tackles those head-on, plus it squashes an odd enemy spawn in Arenas. Let’s break down what’s new and what’s still being looked at.
Patch Notes
- Fixed a bug where loot filters would not be correctly set upon restarting the client
- Fixed an issue where attempting to load into Risen Lake in online would result in a disconnect
- Fixed an issue where Apophis could appear in Arenas
- Fixed a bug where indirect casts of Puncture could interact incorrectly with Stay of Execution’s more damage per second charged, causing that more damage to grow endlessly without resetting
It’s kinda annoying when your loot filters reset every time you restart, right? Now that’s sorted. Also, the disconnects when loading into Risen Lake online were a real pain, so it’s great to see that fixed. And yeah, Apophis popping up in Arenas was definitely a surprise nobody wanted!
Known Issues
- Upon entering character select, the first character shown may not display their equipped items
- We are continuing to investigate crashes some players are experiencing with select Monolith Echoes, such as with “Lost Catacombs”
There are still some hiccups though. For example, your first character on the select screen might look naked because their gear isn’t showing. Plus, some crashes related to certain Monolith Echoes, like Lost Catacombs, are still under investigation. Yikes, that one sounds rough!
This hotfix requires a client update. If you do not see the update in Steam, please try fully shutting down Steam, and restarting it.
Have you noticed improvements with this hotfix? Or are those crashes still driving you up the wall? I’m curious to hear your experiences, so drop your thoughts in the comments below!
