Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 developer Warhorse Studios and publisher Deep Silver released Patch 1.4 alongside the Legacy of the Forge DLC, and its notes cover Photo Mode improvements, quest and combat fixes, and a handful of oddball quality-of-life tweaks that fans care about.
The expansion centers on new building options and economy features, while the Patch 1.4 notes were posted on the game’s website and outline fixes across the whole project; players are already digging through both the DLC and the update for surprises. Henry can cook eggs again. The patch notes run to almost 4,000 words and list fixes across quests, combat, UI, and a rebuilt Photo Mode, while also noting Henry can cook eggs and fewer drunken NPCs wander Kuttenburg.
Several community threads have highlighted fixes that weren’t obvious from the list. One Redditor celebrated restored water behavior, and an X post referenced the same “nice water” praise after players tested the change. Some users also flagged what appears to be a new secret ending in a separate Reddit thread.
Players have discovered other small, humorous additions that weren’t called out in the notes, including an outhouse screenshot that spawned a memorable Reddit comment quoting, “Best part of the new DLC: Henry can finally take a shit.” That reaction appears inside a quoted forum post and shows how much of the patch is being discovered by players themselves.
