Tripwire Interactive has announced that Killing Floor 3 will now release on July 24 via Steam and Epic Games, after a delay from the original March 25 date. This update comes after the developer took time to address community feedback from the beta test.
The delay was announced three weeks before the initial launch date, following a beta that received some tough criticism. Creative director Bryan Wynia shared that the extra development time was used to respond to player concerns and polish the game to better match the franchise’s and its fans’ shared vision.
Since the beta, Tripwire has been actively showing updates, including changes to game design, artwork, UI, and animations. Pre-orders have resumed for the various Steam and Epic Games Store editions.
Killing Floor 3 continues the tradition of intense, gore-filled horde shooting. Players take on the role of rebel Nightfall specialists battling waves of bioengineered zombie monsters, unlocking new skills and collecting a vast arsenal of weapons.
You can find Killing Floor 3 on Epic Games Store and on Steam.
