Eddie Craven, CEO of Kick, recently appealed to Twitch for forgiveness. After nearly four years of his ban, he wants to test out Kick’s new multi-streaming features, which allow content creators to stream on other platforms while still generating revenue.
Kicking off the conversation, Craven tweeted about his interest in the new Kick Partner multistreaming. “It’s been 44 months. I’ve matured. I’ve healed… maybe it’s time for forgiveness?” he stated. This plea follows a significant shift at Kick, which announced its partners could now stream on sites like YouTube and Twitch while facing potential revenue reevaluations from as low as 50% of standard rates.
Kick CEO Asks Twitch for Forgiveness
Caught up in the nostalgia of streaming history, many fans wondered what led to Craven’s almost four-year absence from Twitch. In response to queries regarding his ban, he clarified that it was due to a permanent sanction from streaming slots on the platform.
I reckon Kick Talk would be cool fit on both platforms.
Feels like the right format to bridge communities and take a more agnostic view of the live streaming world 🙏

Despite his lengthy banishment, Craven has expressed respect for Twitch’s moderation team amidst discussions about their challenging role in overseeing fast-paced social platforms. There’s hope given a recent announcement where permanently banned streamers can appeal their bans through an official process.
User cases like those of popular streamers like JiDion and IShowSpeed, who regained access after submitting appeals, highlight potential routes back into online spaces.
