Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel has left Steam Early Access with a full 1.0 release that adds a new boss, a new playable class and a new map; it’s a major step from trial build to full launch and sets expectations for upcoming content.
The update introduces Nidhogg, a giant dragon in Helheim who acts as the new endgame boss and a proper final challenge for progression-oriented runs, and a fresh class called Kinslayer that shifts build options. Games Farm and ARTillery outlined a roadmap that adds Alfheim, another hero, and a future boss, with more realms and encounters planned for upcoming updates this year.
An in-game archive allows players to look up enemies, while a bundle of balance changes has been released that may alter the pacing of familiar runs; longtime players may notice adjustments to weapons and stats across builds.
Reviews on Steam sit at Very Positive, and the game is available now on Steam for $11.99 with a launch discount, grab it from the store here on Steam.
