iShowSpeed is taking a pause from his streams for a couple of weeks, teasing fans with a “huge” comeback in the works. The Twitch and IRL streaming sensation has built a massive following thanks to his wild gaming sessions and energetic travel broadcasts. His recent European tour streams attracted a great deal of attention, despite some chaotic moments, such as when he had to dodge crowds in Helsinki.
Just after bouncing back on Twitch and hitting 1 million followers in record time, Speed announced during a recent stream that he’s taking a break, but only for a short while.
iShowSpeed’s Streaming Break and What’s Next
The streamer told fans he’s stepping away from streaming for two weeks “for a very good reason,” though he kept the details under wraps. His next livestream is scheduled for sometime the week of August 4, assuming no changes occur.
“I’m taking a two-week break for a very good reason. When I come back, it’s gonna be huge. Just wait and see. I promise it’s worth it,” Speed said.
He added that summer’s not over yet and that he’ll be back in Europe once he returns. But for now, that’s all he’s willing to share.
The announcement has sparked numerous theories among fans, including speculation about a potential collaboration with his idol, Messi. Whether that’s true or not, we’ll find out soon enough. Speed also took a moment to thank everyone who supported him during the tour, calling it a “W.” For now, fans will have to wait and see what big thing he has planned next.
