The hype around WWE 2K25 is intense if you’re a wrestling fan. Just like the build-up to Wrestlemania, high hopes run high as we await this next installment from 2K. But here’s the burning question: will it be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers?
The excitement surrounding each new WWE release is like a rollercoaster ride. You gear up with all that promotional build-up, and when the game finally drops, it feels like a championship match! However, once those initial excite-seeking moments fade, fans focus on downloadable content (DLC) and updates. Meanwhile, behind the scenes at 2K, preparations are already underway for WWE’s next big event in WWE 2K25.
You’d think if there was any chance of this happening, Microsoft would be shouting it from the rooftops. They love showcasing titles hitting Game Pass with trailers plastered with their logo everywhere you look. So far, though? Crickets. The various trailers and press releases for WWE 2K25 haven’t dropped any hints about its inclusion in that subscription service either.
A quick visit to the official Xbox Store page for WWE 2K25 reveals nothing about Game Pass access, just a nudge towards paying full price digitally or physically instead.
2K Sports, namely PGA Tour 2K25, is also launching within close proximity but isn’t expected on Game Pass either. Historically speaking, sports games published by NBA® K® PGA Tour® , or even our favorite WWE series, tend not to appear on Game Pass shortly after launch, or even years later!
The burning question remains: should Microsoft and WWE‘s parent company tighten their partnership tighter than a chokehold and start including these titles in subscriptions? Or are you among those who’d rather fork over your hard-earned cash every year for each new installment anyway?
