Infinity Nikki recently faced a rough patch with its 1.5 update, which brought crashes and technical problems that affected many players. The update’s reception on Steam mainly turned negative, with some players feeling discouraged from continuing. Infold’s developers have now addressed these concerns and shared their next steps.
In an official notice on their website, Infold apologized and confirmed that fixing these issues is a top priority. They also revealed some changes before the next update and what players can expect as compensation.
Update on Bubble Season and Upcoming Tasks
The current season, “Bubble Season,” launched alongside version 1.5, will be extended until June 12. This extension means that limited-time items in the Starlit Shop will remain available longer, giving players more time to enjoy them.
Weekly tasks that were supposed to start on May 20 will now arrive with version 1.6 on June 12. The developers want extra time to adjust the task mechanics for a smoother experience. More information about these tasks will be shared closer to the update’s release.
Compensation for Players
To compensate for the difficulties caused by the 1.5 update, all players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals. These can be used in the Starlit Shop to purchase emotes, accessories, and outfit pieces. While some players might have preferred different rewards, this gesture shows the team’s commitment to their community.
Also, from June 5 to June 12, players will get 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy crystal daily, totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy crystals before the next update arrives. It might not fully compensate for the rocky experience, especially for those new to the game, but it’s a helpful bonus nonetheless.
If you’ve been playing Infinity Nikki or were put off by the recent update, these changes might offer a chance to jump back in with some extra support. I’m curious to hear your thoughts about the developers’ response and the compensation provided. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
