Immortals Fenyx Rising is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed and published by Ubisoft, a Greek hero named Fenyx, to save the Olympian Gods from a deadly plague. Players will go against different Greek Mythological monsters like harpies, cyclopses, minotaurs, etc. They’ll get to explore a huge BOTW-like open world.
With the game releasing on December 3rd for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch, the reviews have already started. Currently, it stands at about a 77% Metacritic score, so it’s doing pretty fine according to the critics, even after countless doubts of it being a “BOTW clone.”
Today, Ubisoft released 2 videos dedicated to Immortals: Fenyx Rising. One is a Launch Trailer celebrating its release in 3 days, while the other one is a Deep Dive video, giving us some more info before we’ll be able to play the game.
The gameplay from what we’ve seen is very similar to Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, which is also inspired by Ancient Greece. The world looks a bit more cartoon-y compared to Ubisoft’s other titles.
