ICARUS received a small hotfix on Steam that targets greenhouse and crop problems in arctic biomes. The update, Hotfix 2.3.9.142434-rel-GreatHunts, fixes building grid registration, restores greenhouse buffs for crop plots, and helps crops grow again in the Arctic.
An issue in the new building grid manager prevented the correct registration and deregistration of structures. That bug stopped the greenhouse effect from being correctly applied to crop plots. The grid manager problem affected how buildings and attached systems reported their status to the environment.
The registration error directly impacted crop plots. After this hotfix, greenhouse buffs should apply correctly, and crops grown in a greenhouse in the Arctic will grow again. The patch name and version string, Hotfix 2.3.9.142434-rel-GreatHunts, appear in the Steam post for reference.
Distribution is live on Steam for ICARUS, and the update targets both building registration code and greenhouse behavior. Launching the client will apply the fix automatically in most cases. The change covers the new building grid manager and greenhouse effect interactions with crop plots.
