Well, it was about time I wrote something about this game, and I am kind of tired of seeing others posting low scores. I was whirling around the internet seeing all of the scores the game received. Well, the amount of things you can do in it, including mature stuff, it’s somewhat mind-blowing, but wait until I tell you more.
Hours spent
I’ve spent plenty of hours in the game, and after completing it, I even deleted my save file by mistake and started anew. With that said, I have had a lot to experience, and I still want to run around and explore, despite the fact that I have unveiled the whole map multiple times.
Graphics and Performance
The game has been running smoothly, like all this time I haven’t had an issue except for when I am in Vernworth. That place is just stuffed with plenty of things, so my FPS is crumbling down to around 50-60 or smth. I play on PC btw. But then, when I get out, things do change. The game is smooth, with insane visuals and surroundings that actually make you want to explore it even further.
My opinion
I know it’s a late review, but now that I’ve completed the game for a second time, I have to say that the only thing it was missing is content. Yes, the microtransactions have been dull and stupid, but everyone makes a mistake. Other than that, you know me for making game guides most of the times. Well, when I was playing Dragon’s Dogma 2, I actually forgot about making DD2 guides, and wanted a pure single-player with no interruption at all.
All I can say is that at this moment, I am feeling nostalgic, and besides experiencing multiple Vocations once you taste all the enemies scattered across the map, there’s not much to do in the game, and it somewhat becomes repetitive. But hey, Capcom probably thought of the Vocations as a way to play the game and gain some extra entertainment.
As for the enemies, some are harder to beat but do not really have an edge, which means you don’t need to be super skills to finish the game. I have posted a video of me killing the end boss. Being an end of story, it didn’t really give much adrenaline. Instead, it had the mechanics like the open-world dragons, hence I knew what to do.
Done with Dragons's Dogma 2. You can find the last fight and game ending below. While it does look quite good, it does seem a bit easy in terms of mechanics. Why that? #DD2 pic.twitter.com/MOqgW2UhpR

Either way, I wanted to keep it short and let you know that if you haven’t purchased the game, you might still give it a chance. It is a really beautiful game. The developer has also launched a survey asking if players would buy DLC for the game, so there might be more to come.
