Server Downtime at 09:00 CET on February 10
Hey, hunters! Tomorrow’s the day we’ve been waiting for as Hunt: Showdown rolls out Update 2.2.2! The servers will be offline starting at 09:00 CET for about three hours while they unleash some cool new stuff and fix those pesky bugs that have been lurking around.
This update isn’t just a routine maintenance check; it wraps up the event we’ve all been engaging with, plus introduces fresh weapons and consumables into our gameplay experience. I mean, who doesn’t love new gear to spice things up? It feels like opening presents on your birthday! 🎉
Now let’s talk about the Weekly Challenges because they’re getting a revamp too! The sets are updated, which means fresh challenges await us. Who else is excited to tackle these head-on?
META
Okay, here’s where it gets juicy—the game is bringing in some new weapons, variants, and Custom Ammo into our progression system:
- Rifles
- 1865 Carbine Aperture – 2nd unlock in the 1865 Carbine Family
- Maynard Sniper Silencer – 2nd unlock in the Maynard Sniper Family
- Krag Silencer – 4th unlock in the Krag Family
- Chu Ko Nu – Bloodline Rank 1
- Pistols
- Sparks Pistol Silencer – 5th unlock in the Sparks Family
- Special
- Chu Ko Nu Explosive Bolt – Bloodline Rank 1
- Chu Ko Nu Incendiary Bolt – Bloodline Rank 1
- Consumables
- Recovery Shot – Bloodline Rank 1
But wait, there’s more! Check out these fixes that might just change how you play:
- Fixed an issue where the purchase confirmation audio would get stuck if a Bloodline purchase was canceled while holding down the “Yes” button or pressing the space bar.
- Fixed an issue preventing progress in the “Make Hunters Bleed” Weekly Challenge when landing headshots with the Shredder, Centennial, or Scottfield.
- Fixed an issue where Jesse Buchanan’s Survivor description overlapped with other text when set to French.
- The same fix applies to Oliver Whitman’s description—overlapping text can be frustrating!
- An error causing incorrect last chambering sounds when reloading an empty Specter has also been fixed.
- The description of Ambrose Hazen: Veteran Hunter had overlapping issues in several languages, but no more! Reading should be easy-peasy now.
So there you have it—a whole lot of action packed into this upcoming update! I can’t wait to jump back into Hunt: Showdown, test out those snazzy new weapons, and tackle those refreshed challenges. What do you think about these changes? Are you looking forward to trying them out?
Much love to everyone, and have a great day! I am Mihaela and I am glad to be seeing you reading this piece!
