Hunt: Showdown 1896 players will experience a brief server downtime on Monday, August 4th, starting at 09:00 CEST. This pause will allow the developers to deploy Update 2.4.0.2, which focuses on fixing a couple of nagging issues that have been affecting gameplay.
The downtime is expected to last about three hours, so it’s a good idea to plan your hunts around that window. Once the servers are back online, you’ll notice some subtle but significant improvements.
One fix tackles the Judgement of the Fool Event charms. Previously, these charms showed up correctly in the Shooting Range but were missing during regular Bounty Hunt missions. That’s now sorted out, so your hard-earned charms will be visible where they should be. Kind of frustrating when you can’t see your progress, right?
Another fix addresses a sneaky exploit involving ammo. Some players found a way to swap Compact Ammo with Buckshot, allowing them to shoot Buckshot at long range while keeping the Compact Ammo count intact. That’s been closed off, which should help keep the gameplay fairer.
Here’s the official list of fixes from the update:
Update 2.4.0.2 Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue where all Charms from the Judgement of the Fool Event were correctly displayed in the Shooting Range but did not appear during normal Bounty Hunt Missions
- Fixed an exploit where Compact Ammo could be replaced with Buckshot, allowing players to shoot Buckshot at long range while retaining the Compact Ammo count
Wondering when the servers will be back up? The developers promised to update players as soon as the maintenance ends. So, keep an eye out if you want to jump back in.
