As we gear up for another thrilling experience in the dark and treacherous world of Hunt: Showdown 1896, there’s a little bit of housekeeping to attend to. Tomorrow, November 6th, at 10:00 CET, the live servers will go offline for a scheduled maintenance session to roll out Update 2.1.0.2. This patch addresses some critical issues many of you have been feeling in your hunt.
The downtime is estimated to last around three hours, so grab a cup of your favorite beverage or delve into a good book while we update the game. If you’re wondering what exactly is in store for us with this patch, let me walk you through the upcoming fixes and changes:
- Fix for Crashes: A rather pesky crash during client start-up has been resolved. This crash was one of the top three culprits causing interruptions in our gameplay, and now it should be a thing of the past.
- Dedicated Server Fixes: A rare crash issue that affected players on dedicated servers has also been addressed, ensuring a smoother experience when you’re out hunting.
- Custom Ammo Availability: The Bomb Lance had a little hiccup regarding Custom Ammo availability, but not anymore. This has been fixed, so get ready to equip for those unique rounds!
- Rotjaw Bounty Tokens: For those who’ve had the misfortune of battling Rotjaw and only receiving one Bounty Token, rejoice! This bug has been fixed, and he will drop the correct amount-two tokens!
- Iron Sights Alignment: A subtle yet frustrating misalignment with the iron sights on the Frontier 73C Silencer and its skins has also been corrected.
- Climbing Exploit Fixed: An exploit that allowed players to climb to new areas using the Dark Dynamite Satchel has been patched up.
- Skin Selection Issues: This issue is now behind us, and there will be no more accidental purchases or wrong skins being applied when selecting certain options in the menu.
- Corrupted Cloak Fixed: The Hex Breaker’s cloak has received some much-needed TLC to fix corruption issues.
- Blood Bond Packs in Taiwan: Lastly, an issue preventing the purchase of specific Blood Bond packs in Taiwan dollars on Steam has been resolved.
We genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding during this downtime. The developers are hard at work to ensure that our hunting escapades are as seamless as possible, and these fixes are a testament to their commitment to improving our experience.
