To complete A Toxic Trail in Arc Raiders players must return to the Water Treatment Control area and follow three short objectives: confirm the barrel at the drain, photograph the partially submerged truck in the swamp, and search the truck to collect a Spaceport Warehouse Key. Worry not, because we got you covered!
Return to the water intake
Head to the drain just north of the Water Treatment Control building. The quest registers automatically when a Raider gets near the barrel found there during the earlier Source of Contamination quest. Simply moving close to the barrel completes the first objective.
Search the swamp for the barrel’s origin
The next objective points northwest along the river to a partly submerged truck carrying barrels. Walk up to any yellow interaction marker on the truck’s side to “take a photo of the barrel truck.” That photo action completes this objective and advances the quest.
Search the truck and collect the key
Interact with the yellow icon by the driver compartment door to “search the truck for clues.” That action yields a Spaceport Warehouse Key. The key does not always need to be used immediately to finish the quest, but players should stash it in a safe inventory slot or exfil at the nearby Swamp elevator if they want to keep it for later.
