Have you seen how good Gray Zone Warfare’s Day/Night cycle looks?

If you haven't, then you should see this.

We all know that Gray Zone Warfare is getting a day/night cycle, but did you know how good it looks? Well, if you didn’t, the developers have shared a video which might be an indication of its first looks.

First and foremost, let me say that Gray Zone Warfare has been very entertaining to me, and pretty much reminds me of Arma 3 Wasteland. The possibilities there were endless. Even though it’s pretty different from Arma 3 and lacks the necessary mods, Madfinger Games is slowly working on GZW’s perfection. Recently, the developer has reposted a video on X. Even though it’s unofficial, it clearly speaks for itself because it has struck the developer’s attention. For them to repost this, it has to be somewhere close to their imagination. You can find the video on the post on X below:

Imagine how dark Lamang would become and how the sounds of frogs and mosquitoes would dominate over your breathing, footsteps, and sometimes even gunfire. Lamang boasts an insanely large territory with a lavish environment (large trees, grass, etc.). So imagine conquering zones and farming gear to bolster your in-game currency, only to find that some PvP-ready rat is hiding in the vast darkness of some corner, waiting for you to pass by.

In the meantime, Madfinger Games is working on deploying new updates, and one of them is scheduled for today. Titled 0.1.2.2, the contents of this update are unknown, but if you’re willing to experience what’s been changed, then tune back in a while, because we’ll have the patch notes posted.

Other than that, if you cannot wait for the day and night cycle just like me, keep in mind that it’s been confirmed that it will arrive with the first major update.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
