Hollow Knight: Silksong, developed by Team Cherry, receives Patch Version 1.0.28497 which is now live on Steam. The update fixes several late game bugs, reduces a few early boss difficulties, and tweaks rosary rewards and prices to smooth progression. It should reduce a few blocker scenarios.
The patch plugs several late-game soft-locks and mission blockers that could halt progress. Several encounter and collision issues were fixed, including getting stuck after down-bouncing on certain projectiles, creatures leaving arenas, and tools or enemies becoming inaccessible underwater. Quality-of-life tweaks touch vendor prices and rosary payouts, and a few early bosses were slightly softened to ease progression. The float override input has been removed, and specific item bugs were corrected to restore intended rewards.
Balance changes are light but deliberate, trimming damage from Sandcarvers and nudging pea pod collider size for hit detection. Early bosses Moorwing and Sister Splinter received slight difficulty reductions to help players past the opening gauntlet. Mid-game Bellway and Bell Bench prices saw slight reduction,s while rosary payouts from relics, psalm cylinders, and courier deliveries were increased.
