Hollow Knight: Silksong is joining Game Pass, Microsoft/Xbox announced, as part of an early September 2025 wave of additions. The update brings several full games, DLC trials, in-game benefits, and a small set of removals across Cloud, Console, and PC during the first two weeks of September.
The list starts with titles available immediately, including I Am Your Beast on cloud and PC platforms. Upcoming releases include Nine Sols on September 3 and Hollow Knight: Silksong on September 4, with Silksong available day one for Game Pass members. Other additions are Cataclismo on PC, PAW Patrol World on September 10, and RoadCraft on September 16. The selections span indie and mid-tier projects across multiple platforms.
The update also lists DLC and timed experiences: Overwatch 2’s Season 18 Stadium Quick Play is now available, and Indiana Jones adds the Order of Giants chapter on September 4, accompanied by a discounted Digital Premium Upgrade for members. EA Sports NHL 26 will offer an EA Play early access trial on September 5. Game Pass members gain in-game benefit drops, including packs and currency for titles like Asphalt Legends Unite and The Finals. Several titles will leave the library on September 15, and members can use discounts to buy titles they want to keep.
Membership perks and timed trials give members opportunities to test or claim content without buying. Discounts remain available for players who want to buy departing games and keep them in their libraries. More arrivals will appear through September beyond the initial wave, per the announcement.
