Hogwarts Legacy Mod Support Coming to PC on January 30

Hogwarts Legacy has captured the hearts of many players, and now it’s about to get even more enjoyable. Mark your calendars for January 30, as that’s when Warner Bros. Games, Portkey Games, and Avalanche Software will roll out a free update introducing mod support for the PC version.

This community-driven feature allows players to create new dungeons, brooms, cosmetics, skins, and more. If you’ve ever dreamed of customizing your Hogwarts experience beyond the base game, this is your moment. The modding tools provided in this update open up a treasure chest of possibilities.

Once the update drops, accessing and downloading mods will be a breeze from the main menu. Plus, creative people can tap into the free Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, available via the Epic Games Store. You’ll be able to craft new quests and character improvements.

Cursed Forge will host and moderate these mods, so you can focus on diving headfirst into creating or exploring content like never before. The announcement featured some exciting mods too! Among them is “Dungeon of Doom,” which promises combat galore alongside hidden secrets waiting to be discovered.

You’ll also find broom replacement mods and expanded character creation options included in this patch. Fans have been asking for more customization options since the launch, so it’s great to see developers listening.

A Warner Bros. Games account linked to either Steam or Epic Games Store will be necessary to access these official mods. You can link your accounts through this website.

Hogwarts Legacy, available now on various platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via both Steam and Epic Games Store, has already sold over 30 million copies.
