With Dartmoor in England and Dubai in the UAE, the 3rd location has been revealed for Hitman 3. Agent 47 will get to showcase his man-hunting skills in Chongqing, China, where players will get to walk along with its massively crowded neon-lighted streets.
According to IO Interactive, Chongqing will be full of people and stalls, making the location full of atmosphere and character. With Hitman 3, IO Interactive has also made several improvements and fixes to their Glacier Engine, with improved reflections, lighting, animations, and AI.
The developers are also hinting that thanks to their new engine, Chonqping will have full water effects with details such as raindrops hitting Agent 47 and his clothes getting wet.
IO Interactive also confirmed that Hitman 3 would run at 4K 60 FPS for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, along with full HDR support.
Hitman 3 is set to release at the beginning of next year, on January 20th, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S. It will be the third main installment to the series, with very high expectations from fans.
