Hello Games rolled out its latest patch, update 4.36.2, for No Man’s Sky, focusing on bug fixes and improvements for the Singularity Expedition. The No Man’s Sky Singularity Expedition, a unique gameplay mode where players embark on a collective journey across vast galaxies, has experienced some technical glitches recently.
To address this, Hello Games initiated an open call for players to report any issues they encountered via Zendesk or console crash reporting. The feedback has been instrumental in helping the development team identify and rectify several issues.
One of the patch’s key focuses is fixing rare crashes that users reported. The patch notes list five types of rare crashes in various scenarios, such as when players were editing bases, interacting with the mission system, repairing planetary objects, using the Expedition overview UI, and dealing with interaction labels.
In addition, the patch resolves memory leaks on PlayStation 4 and 5 and on all Xbox platforms, thereby ensuring a smoother and more responsive gameplay experience for console users.
