“As this was our first crossover offering,” they said, “we’ve been listening to the response, and the feedback we’ve received from our community surveys is that crossover content is really high up on your wishlists.” It’s like they’re peeking into our gaming wish lists, which is a lovely gesture!
The best part? As an early holiday gift, how sweet, the studios have decided to hand out the planned second wave of Helldivers x Killzone collaboration items free of charge. This distribution will roll out in two waves shortly. Talk about spreading some festive cheer!
The new content includes goodies like the AC-2 Obedient armor set, a PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle, a StA-11 SMG, a Defender of our Dream cape, and a player banner. I can already picture players strutting around in style!
A bit more good news came regarding item availability; concerned players noted rotation issues with previously available cosmetics. To address this concern head-on (and thank goodness for that), both studios confirmed these items will now stay in rotation for ten days instead of five. They even hinted at exploring ways to make these items permanent fixtures in-game down the line.
