Helldivers 2 just got a new patch on PS5 and PC that matters, no more crashes, weapon glitches are sorted, and you can finally laugh out loud on your ship without the audio cutting out. Yeah, that was a weird bug that made no sense, but now it’s fixed!
The update is said to tackle problems with Warbonds and missing DLC content. So if you’ve been frustrated by any of those issues, this patch should help smooth things out.

Weapons, Stratagems & Boosters
- PLAS-45 EPOCH: Improved spread, decreased by 75% to boost accuracy
- Laser turret now correctly shows heat build-up
- LIFT-182 Warp Pack FX no longer appears in first-person mode
- Disabled LIFT-182 Warp Pack fields around shuttles to stop Helldiver escape attempts, time to head home!
- Fixed desync when using LIFT-182 Warp Pack to exit vehicles
- AR-32 PACIFIER no longer has a one-second firing delay after reload
Enemies
- Fixed enemy navigation in cities where they couldn’t reach certain spots
Miscellaneous Fixes
- Fixed players unable to access DLC or Warbond items
- Fixed emotes snapping Helldiver torso near hellpod drops
- Fixed Manic Laughter emote not playing sound on the ship
There are still some bugs hanging around, so expect another patch sometime this month. Xbox players, your turn is coming soon, Helldivers 2 will launch on Xbox Series later this month alongside Gears of War on PS5.
