The 2025 Summer Update for Halo Infinite launches with Operation: Last Stand, introducing fresh content including a new power weapon, game modes, and customization options. This update continues the seasonal Operation format with a 50-tier Premium Pass and several gameplay adjustments.
Update Calendar
The Summer Update follows the Operation format started in the 2024 Winter Update, featuring month-long seasons with playlists, modes, and unlockable armor. The schedule includes:
- Operation: Last Stand (May 6)
- Operation: Legacy (June 10)
- Operation: Reclaimer (July 8)
Each season begins with a Premium Operation Pass and major content milestones such as new weapons and game modes.
New Weapon: Mutilator
The long-expected Mutilator arrives as a double-barreled weapon with a Gravity Hammer attachment. Players can fire single shells or use an alternate fire mode to unleash two shots simultaneously. The hammer delivers devastating melee damage.
The Mutilator debuts in the new Juggernaut variant mode Mutilator Madness and is available as a power weapon on maps, in custom matches, and Forge.
Operation Pass Overview
Operation: Last Stand features a 50-tier Premium Pass with four full armor sets and various unlocks.
Free Operation Pass
Available May 6–June 10, the free pass offers 20 tiers including the SECOPS armor set and Spartan Points for additional customizations.
Premium Operation Pass
The 50-tier Premium Pass never expires and includes bonus XP, an extra challenge slot, and instant unlocks. It adds three more armor sets: Raider, EVA GEN1, and Scarred Comet, plus an exclusive Commander Agyrna armor kit.
Players can purchase the Premium Pass anytime during the Operation with two options:
- 1,000 Credits: Unlocks durable tiers, bonus XP, extra challenge slot, and a customization bundle.
- 2,500 Credits: Includes all above plus instant completion of the first 20 tiers and their rewards.
Customizations from previous Operations will appear in The Exchange during the Summer Update, with Premium Pass items later available for separate purchase.

Forge Updates
Updated Set Object Team Nodes
Set Object Team and Set Object Team to Neutral nodes now support various Generic Objects and Spawners, allowing team ownership assignment or neutralization for objects like flags, bombs, skulls, and capture zones.
New Spawn Order Nodes
Five new nodes enable assigning spawn order, indexing players and objects by spawn order, and retrieving lists based on spawn order. These nodes help create spawn-order logic for custom maps and modes.
Exchange Updates
To improve item browsing, The Exchange now includes folders for helmets, body attachments, visors, torso attachments, armor coatings, effects, Spartan customization, weapon coatings, emblems, weapon modifications, vehicle customization, and backdrops.
Players earn Spartan Points (SP) through matches and challenges to acquire customizations. SP can now also be purchased using Shop Credits or currency to complete collections.
More details will be shared as the Summer Update progresses. Look for a complete overview of Operation: Last Stand on May 6 and updates on Operation: Legacy and Operation: Reclaimer soon.
