Hades II has officially left Early Access with its v1.0 release on Steam, delivering the game’s true ending, new events, and a host of finishing touches that complete the experience.
The v1.0 Launch Update adds the story conclusion, scores of new events for many fully voiced characters, fresh music, new Fated List prophecies, late-game unlockables and Achievements, some of which will be awarded retroactively to Early Access players.
Hades II on Steam ships with the complete set of launch features the studio promised throughout Early Access. The development run lasted more than four and a half years, including approximately a year and a half in Early Access. The team states that it will monitor the release and issue hotfixes or patches if any problems arise.
The game’s Original Soundtrack by Darren Korb is out alongside the launch, clocking in at just under four hours. The soundtrack is available on Steam at the Hades II Original Soundtrack page and can be streamed for free via the studio’s YouTube playlist.
The announcement includes a link to the game’s FAQ on Supergiant’s website for more details, and a separate news post contains the full patch notes. Hades II FAQ and Full patch notes are here.
This launch finishes what Early Access started, giving players a closed narrative, new music, and the systems needed to chase every last unlock. If the new true ending and achievements matter to a run, this changes how people will approach the late game, and completionists will want a fresh look.
