Hacker blackmails Take-Two over GTA 6 leaks

Earlier today, a person leaked videos of GTA 6 that seemingly prove the identity of the product. Shortly after going viral, he stated that the actions had led to unexpected attention. Well, after claiming a leak for the next installment of the highest anticipated franchise, did you believe it will go under the radar? This has led to vast turbulence on social media. The leaker is seeking negotiation, or better said, wants some $ from Take-Two and Rockstar Games in order to stop the leak. As per his message, he wants to

Over on Tom Henderson’s Twitter Profile, you can see proof and even impersonators who have tried to pull information from the hacker. While it’s tough to believe that this is happening, Take Two’s DMCA takedowns are proving the contrary. This means that the leaked footage from GTA 6 is real, and the fact that more of them could drop at any moment is just abnormal.

The hacker has updated the original post stating that he is "looking to negotiate a deal".

The hacker has also said that he has source code for GTA 5 and GTA 6. pic.twitter.com/LDtkAUt4Vt

According to the forum flag, the user is from the United Arab Emirates. He has given his Telegram account and proton email in expectation of getting a word from Take-Two’s representatives. Some people have already tried contacting the blackmailer, pretending to be official representatives from the company.

A person pretending to be a Rockstar/Take-Two employee managed to speak with the hacker.

He once again states he has source code and told him that the "IT team can check the logs" for proof.

Now there are multiple Twitter accounts linked to this spectacle, and some of them say that he’s not a hacker, but he has paid good money for Take-Two employee credentials on the dark web. If this is true, then it is one of the most significant leaks in history and a massive nightmare for Take-Two and Rockstar Games. Considering Take-Two’s DMCA takedowns, we’re likely to see a continuation of the story shortly.

Long story short, this person’s last name is Danger. Not anyone who’s done such things has come out on top, especially not against a massive and successful publisher such as Take-Two. Stay tuned for further updates!
