Escape From Tarkov “Gunsmith – Model 870” Quest Guide

Gunsmith – Model 870 is built around the M870 Magpul MOE handguard, a foregrip and a tactical device. There is room to vary the rest of the shotgun, provided its ergonomics and recoil meet Mechanic's requirements.

Requirements

• Mechanic loyalty level 2.

Objectives

• Modify a Remington Model 870 to comply with the given specifications

Weapon specifications

• 60 Durability
• 500 or less recoil
• 60 or more ergonomics
• Any tactical device (such as the NcSTAR Tactical Blue Laser)
• Any foregrip
• M870 Magpul MOE handguard

How to complete the build

A standard M870 from Skier LL1 works as the starting weapon for the example below.

The MOE handguard needs the appropriate rail sections for its foregrip and tactical device. Check both attachments are actually mounted before submitting the shotgun.

Check the complete weapon in the inspection window before handing it over. The quest checkmark can be inconsistent even when a build qualifies, so a missing marker alone does not prove the weapon cannot be submitted.
