Guilty Gear Strive will add a crossover character from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Lucy, an elite hacker and netrunner, will be playable starting August 21, 2025. It will be the last DLC character for Season Pass 4, and it comes with some gameplay changes.
The upcoming patch on August 21 will also introduce Rank Match Mode and balance adjustments to battles. The full patch notes will reveal more about the Cyberpunk Edgerunners DLC character and other tweaks. It’s kinda cool to see a fighting game bringing in such a distinct character from a cyberpunk universe… but will it fit the Guilty Gear vibe?
Guilty Gear Strive x Cyberpunk Edgerunners Unveiled Through New Trailer
Arc System Works shared a new trailer showing off Lucy’s gameplay. She fights with monowires and kicks for close combat and uses a pistol for ranged attacks. Lucy also brings hacking abilities inspired by Cyberpunk 2077, letting players perform hacks like Contagion, Energy Siphon, and Algorithm Malfunction, which consume Cyberdeck RAM. That’s an interesting mechanic to add to a fighting game, don’t you think?

What do you think about this crossover? Does Lucy’s hacking style fit the fast-paced fighting action of Guilty Gear Strive?
