GTA Online’s Summer Heist Event Brings Back the Panther Statue and Doubled Payouts

GTA Online’s Summer Heist Event begins July 30, giving players two weeks of boosted criminal activities, free rewards, discounts, and special bonuses across Los Santos and Cayo Perico. Rockstar Games outlined the full event schedule in its official Newswire announcement.

The first set of bonuses runs from July 30 through August 5. The second begins on August 6 and continues through August 12, so players have a clear reason to return during both weeks.

Week One Puts the Fleeca and Pacific Standard Heists in Focus

Players will receive 2X GTA$ on their first weekly completion of The Fleeca Heist Finale and The Pacific Standard Job between July 30 and August 5. Setup Missions for both heists also pay more during the event period.

Completing The Fleeca Heist Finale during the first week also grants the Fleeca Circuit livery for the Übermacht Cypher. Rockstar says the livery will arrive within 72 hours of completion. Logging in before August 5 grants the Pacific Standard Sweater.

The first week also adds 2X GTA$ and RP to Motor Wars (Cayo Perico) and Shipwreck activities. The Community Mission Series pays 3X GTA$ and RP, with A kick in the wallet by II_TREIZIEME_II available from July 30 through August 5.

The Panther Statue Returns on August 6

The event’s biggest prize arrives during the second week. From August 6 through August 12, the Panther Statue will be guaranteed as the Primary Target on the first playthrough of The Cayo Perico Heist Finale.

Players who complete the finale during that window will also receive the Panther Tour Jacket. The same week adds 2X GTA$ and RP to Assault on Cayo Perico and A Superyacht Life.

Cayo Perico Survival also returns from August 6 to August 12. Surviving three waves completes the second Weekly Challenge and awards GTA$100,000 along with the Noise Rockstar Logo Aged Tee.

The second Community Mission Series creation, Escape The City by Zibulaatio, will be available during the same week. It sends crews through a federal standoff, a jail break, and a last-minute escape from Los Santos on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Enhanced). These missions pay 3X GTA$ and RP.

Log In for GTA$1,000,000 and Summer Cosmetics

The End of Summer Giveaway runs from August 6 through August 12. Anyone who plays GTA Online during that period will receive a GTA$1,000,000 bonus, delivered within 72 hours of logging in.

Login rewards across the event include the Pacific Standard Sweater, Tropical Bangles, Tropical Glow Necklace, Sunset Glow Necklace, and Blue and Pink Glow Shades. Winning two Adversary Modes also completes the first Weekly Challenge, which pays GTA$100,000 and grants the Manor Tie-dye Tee.

More Kortz Center Heist Rewards

The weekly Primary Target at The Kortz Center Heist includes S.P. Carroll’s A Cast of Characters, Francesco Zozzone’s Mi O Melee, and Mina Major’s To Beat About the Bush. Players who sell their first Primary Target during the week can claim the new weekly bonus before a fresh collection arrives on August 6.

The heist’s broader setup and target system was introduced with The Kortz Center Heist, which sends crews into the Bell Building to steal valuable artwork.

A Superyacht Life Pays More

A Superyacht Life Missions pay 2X GTA$ and RP through August 12. The Galaxy Super Yacht is also available at 60% off from DockTease, while all yacht modifications carry the same discount.

That discount makes the yacht missions easier to access, although the event also includes plenty of activities that do not require a yacht. Motor Wars, Shipwrecks, the Community Mission Series, and both weeks of heist bonuses offer several ways to earn extra cash.
