Gray Zone Warfare’s first major patch fixes tons of issues and more

Gray Zone Warfare, the game that I truly find quite amazing has released a new patch, which is supposed to be the first major patch for the game, as classified by the developer. First off, let’s talk about the fixes. The devs have really gone to town on some of the most annoying bugs that have been plaguing us.

Before this patch, it was like running through a ghost forest, no rustling sounds at all. That’s fixed, too. Now, when you sprint through the underbrush, it’ll sound like you’re in a real jungle. Furthermore, the developer has improved the vendors. Only seeing one item in vendor stock? That’s been squashed. You can now shop to your heart’s content. And let’s not forget the classic “killed by a landing helicopter leading to a friendly fire report” issue. Yep, that’s taken care of. No more explaining to your squad why the chopper turned you into mincemeat.

One of my favorites is the fix for empty magazines refilling after connecting to a server. It was fun while it lasted, but it’s good to see the devs keeping things fair. Plus, those creepy dead AIs were standing up in an A-pose like they were auditioning for a horror movie. All of that and even more has been addressed, and you can find the complete patch notes below:

Overall, Patch #01 is looking solid. It addresses many of the issues that players have been vocal about and makes meaningful changes to improve gameplay. Clearly, the devs are listening and committed to making Gray Zone Warfare the best it can be.
