The Winds of War update for Gray Zone Warfare is nearly upon us, and the game’s first-ever Twitch Drops campaign comes with it. Running from May 22 to June 14, this event offers players a chance to earn in-game rewards simply by watching select Twitch streams. Here’s what you need to know to get involved and what goodies await.
What Are Twitch Drops?
Twitch Drops let players earn in-game items by watching creators who have Drops enabled while streaming Gray Zone Warfare. To participate, you must:
- Watch streams with Drops enabled.
- Link your Steam and Twitch accounts on a page that will be shared soon.
You can track your progress and claim rewards through your Twitch Drops inventory under the “Drops & Rewards” section.
Support A Streamer
This feature rewards you for purchasing recurring or gift subscriptions to your favorite creators during the campaign. Unlike watching streams, this method grants rewards based on your support. Note that Prime Subscriptions do not count toward these rewards.
Rewards Breakdown
The campaign is divided into three stages, each offering two types of rewards:
- Consumables: Items like repair kits, medical kits, weapons, gear, and mortar strike shells. These help you get a head start with the new update but will be wiped approximately six months after the Winds of War update (around update 0.4).
- Apparel: Exclusive clothing sets including gloves, trousers, boots, uniforms, and glasses. These are distinct to Twitch Drops and will carry over to future updates without being wiped.

The campaign is powered by Viktos & Gatorz, known for tactical gear, and features special Veteran Drops in collaboration with REGIMENT & Stack Up, organizations supporting U.S. veterans.

Elite Operators
Features creators such as Train9, Kraftyy, aiekillu, among others.

All campaigns run daily from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM UTC.
