Gray Zone Warfare just rolled out Patch 0.3.2.0, and it’s packed with some solid improvements and bug fixes that players have been waiting for. From new illumination options on scopes to AI behavior fixes and vendor stock changes, this update aims to polish the experience and iron out some frustrating issues.
One of the most fabulous additions is the illumination toggle for selected reticles. This might be a game-changer if you’ve ever struggled with eagerness in darker settings. The devs tackled contrast abuse during nighttime gameplay, which should stop some sneaky exploits. VRAM optimizations are also in place to make your rig perform smoother.
Vendor stocks got some love too, more ammo and weapon options are now available, like unlimited APVS7 from Handshake, and modded SVD added to Vulture’s inventory. Oh, and no more losing armor protection when equipping rigs. That fix alone had me nodding hard because who wants to become squishier just by eager up suddenly?
AI got cleaned up as well. No more NPCs clipping through walls or stacking on top of each other, and their spawn rates at smaller locations got a slight bump. Also, allied NPCs won’t longer be floating in the air after capturing outposts.
The UI saw a bunch of polish, like fixing the XP bar so it fills correctly, removing annoying “Task Completed” pop-ups on login, and adding a dedicated icon for Tracking Tags. Even the death screen got smarter by showing accurate causes like radiation or falls, which is neat for figuring out how you died.
Graphics and animations weren’t left behind either. The update fixes raindrops appearing black on night vision lenses and removes weird shiny hair in low settings. Weapon animations got tweaks to prevent twitching and clipping, which makes combat feel less glitchy. And finally, the world itself got a cleanup—floating objects fixed, stuck spots patched up, and keys spawned correctly where they should.
Custom servers also received attention, improving management reliability and adding options like enabling or disabling limited stock. Twitch Drops users will see better account linking and more regular reward delivery.
