Grand Theft Auto VI Has 1 Confirmed Voice Actor as Cast Rumors Continue

Grand Theft Auto VI still has a largely unconfirmed voice cast. Stephen Root is the only confirmed actor identified for the game, while Manni L. Perez, Dylan Rourke, and Bobby Moynihan remain the leading rumors for Lucia Caminos, Jason Duval, and Cal Hampton.

Stephen Root is the only confirmed name

Stephen Root is associated with Brian Heder, a Florida Keys drug runner who appears among the game’s supporting characters. Root’s credits include Office Space, Dodgeball, and Barry, making him a fitting choice for one of the older, rougher personalities shown in the cast speculation.

Rockstar has not provided a complete official cast announcement, so Root’s involvement stands apart from the theories surrounding the game’s two leads and other major characters.

Lucia and Jason remain the biggest casting rumors

Manni L. Perez is the leading fan theory for Lucia. The actress has a close physical and vocal resemblance to the character, and she has previously expressed interest in voice and motion-capture work. Perez also voiced Clubber #2 in GTA Online, although that smaller role does not confirm her involvement as Lucia.

Perez discussed a major project she had been attached to since 2021 during an interview with DJ Echo, but declined to identify it because of a nondisclosure agreement.

Dylan Rourke is the most frequently suggested actor for Jason Duval. Fans have pointed to his resemblance to Jason, changes to his online presence, and the disappearance of some hosted videos as reasons to connect him with the role. None of those details confirms a casting decision.

Cal Hampton has another unconfirmed contender

Bobby Moynihan is the main name attached to Cal Hampton. His recognizable comedic voice and experience with satire make the theory easy to understand, while Cal’s appearance has also led some fans to compare the character with actor and restaurateur Matty Matheson. Matheson has not confirmed a role, and Moynihan’s casting remains unannounced as well.

Earlier fan theories connected Natalie Morales and Alexandra C. Echavarri with Lucia, but neither actor has been confirmed for the part. Bryan Zampella also drew attention as a possible Jason performer after several GTA-related teases, though that theory has since gone quiet.

More GTA 6 characters still need voices

The uncertainty reaches beyond Jason, Lucia, Cal, and Brian. Voice performers for Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista, and the Real Dimez duo have not been identified in the cast information surrounding the game’s trailers.

For now, Stephen Root is the only confirmed name, while the rest of the cast list remains a mix of visual comparisons, career clues, old rumors, and outright denials. The actors behind Jason and Lucia will likely draw the most attention whenever Rockstar gives the cast a formal reveal.
