Grand Theft Auto VI Code-in-a-Box Preorders Appear Limited at Some Target Stores
A buyer said they secured the last unit allocated to their local store, while a screenshot showed two nearby locations sold out and another still available 26 miles away.
Grand Theft Auto VI’s physical code-in-a-box preorders appear limited at some Target stores. One buyer said they secured the last unit allocated to their local store, then found other nearby locations showing sold out.
The attached store listing gives a local snapshot: the buyer’s store, 1 mile away, and another location 33 miles away were marked “Preorders sold out.” A third store, 26 miles away, was listed as the next closest in-stock option, with pickup listed for Nov. 12.
That points to tight inventory around one shopper, not a nationwide sellout. The post’s author said the appeal was having a physical GTA VI box to display and wondered whether shipping-center stock was limited too, but offered no count or confirmation of online inventory.
Physical "code-in-a-box" preorders appear to be limited and are selling out.
