Ghost of Yotei has received a sizable post-launch update that makes the game more replayable and a little kinder to players who want to tinker with how they return to Ezo. Patch 1.100 is now live and adds New Game plus, replayable duels and Yotei Six camps, a new vendor stocked with items bought using Flower Hearts, and several accessibility and photo mode options.
The update lets players restart the story while keeping their earned gear and abilities, so a second run can feel familiar but fresher. All 26 duels and 22 Yotei Six camps can be replayed at will and now track stats, making it simple to go back for cleaner runs or to chase better times and scores. Minor but useful additions include the option to turn off fall damage and alternate button layouts for minigames. Photo mode and accessibility settings have been expanded, and a new vendor sells armor and unlockables in exchange for Flower Hearts collected in-game. The full, official notes are linked from the developer’s support page.
Many players are pleased with the update, but several requests keep appearing in community threads. A common request is transmog so characters can wear different looks without losing the stats or abilities that come with certain sets. Another player compared Ghost of Yotei’s equipment handling to Ghost of Tsushima and called for loadout options. The developer has already published the patch details on its support site, and Sucker Punch’s choices about the game’s tone and violence were discussed in interviews leading up to launch, so the studio is clearly listening to feedback as it settles into post-release support. For context on the game’s early performance and the studio’s comments about future work, see the coverage on the game’s early sales that put Ghost of Yotei near the top of European charts and the studio’s capacity comments.
If Sucker Punch follows the usual post-launch rhythm there is room for cosmetic systems like transmog or loadout toggles in later updates or paid content, but players will need to wait for an official roadmap or confirmation. Official patch notes on Sucker Punch support and our look at Ghost of Yotei’s early sales performance add useful context for anyone planning a return trip to Ezo.
