Ghost of Tsushima, the upcoming PS4 exclusive to fall under the action-adventure genre, has already discovered the game difficulties. Sucker Punch’s forthcoming game will include multiple difficulties at which the game can be played, with the hardest being very punishing. As the developer wants to say, it will consist of challenging difficulties to meet the player demands.
Set on Tsushima Island back in 1274, the Mongol invasion has to be stopped. Any other game that meets this criterion and is set back when cold armaments were part of the human defense, pretty much holds an exciting combat mechanics.
In a recent interview with PlayStation, the game director Nate Fox has discovered some answers regarding the difficulty. So far, we know that there will be three difficulties to choose from, Easy, Normal, and Hard. From simple story flow to barrier driven adventure, the first two difficulties won’t be even as close to the most challenging one. The Hard difficulty will have a couple of severe mechanics that will differ from the previous. According to Nate:
Nate: The game does feature three levels of difficulty — Easy, Normal, and Hard. On HARD, the game is fair, but very challenging. Mongols are more aggressive, and players must be precise to pull off extraordinary moves. By comparison, EASY is for players who want to explore the island, enjoy the story and still be occasionally tested by a worthy opponent.
No matter which difficulty players choose we never increase the health of enemies; this is to maintain the lethality of the katana. Our combat is all about the player’s skill.
With a release date of June 17 on PS4, Ghost Of Tsushima will arrive at the PS4 repository is around 50GB of size, with a pre-load feature starting a couple of days before.
