Ghost of Tsushima will run at 60FPS on the PS5

We already know that many PS4 titles will be already available with the launch of the PS5, but the certainty of their performance remains unknown. Slowly, the gaming industry is receiving confirmations about the upcoming game’s performance and integrity on the PS5, as developers have begun revealing extra info regarding the same. In this case, Sucker Punch has announced that Ghost of Tsushima will be playable at 60FPS on the PS5, with crazy fast loading screens too.

This will be performed via an in-game option that will allow players to toggle to 60FPS. The confirmation has arrived on their official Twitter profile, which has received mixed feedback. Nevertheless, Ghost of Tsushima won’t be able to breast the 60FPS barrier. The boost is unlikely to reach the limit, considering the incredible detail and high-resolution textures.

PS5 owners playing with Game Boost will see an extra option to allow frame rates up to 60FPS, and while loading speeds on the PS4 are already great, just wait until you see them on the PS5!

It remains unknown whether the FPS limit is connected to a 4K resolution only, or if that’s simply the peek performance and game optimization Sucker Punch could get to. So far, the sole confirmation is about the frames per second, while for the resolution, we’ll probably have to wait and see.
