Genshin Impact and Innersloth have announced a limited collaboration that adds a free Paimon costume to Among Us, timed to celebrate Genshin’s 6.0 “Luna I” update. The crossover runs from September 10 to October 10, and Genshin players can also claim a free five-star unit.
The collab coincides with Genshin’s new region, Nod-Krai, story quests, and banner characters arriving in 6.0. Innersloth framed the crossover as a fan-friendly cosmetic partnership, explaining Innersloth says “One of the Crewmates has been obsessed with playing Genshin Impact between tasks, so we had the pleasure of working with HoYoverse to cook up these cosmetics and satisfy your Paimon-ial needs for free.” The announcement leans into the absurd: a floating companion turned space-sabotage mascot feels delightfully odd and surprisingly on-brand for both teams.
Fans on X have flooded timelines with fan art and memes, reimagining Paimon as an imposter and sending dozens of wildly creative takes across social feeds and art streams worldwide. It’s absurdly cute.
Players who log into Genshin will be able to grab a free five-star unit. The event lists the following characters as options:
- Dehya
- Keqing
- Mona
- Qiqi
- Jean
- Tighnari
- Diluc
- Mizuki
Among Us has steadily added pop-culture cosmetics over the years, and this partnership continues that run alongside previous crossovers with Yakuza, Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, Ace Attorney, Vox Machina, and Undertale. The Paimon outfit is free during the event window, and Innersloth’s steady stream of skins means crewmates now turn up in wildly different universes without warning. Expect a month of mashups and art drops across social platforms while the event is active.
