Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios revealed exciting new details for the upcoming Forza Motorsport at Gamescom. The announcement includes adding the Nürburgring GP circuit at launch and the Nordschleife track in Spring 2024.
Turn 10 Studios is committed to delivering ongoing content monthly post-launch, starting with the Nürburgring GP circuit. Chris Esaki emphasized that both tracks have been “completely rebuilt for the Xbox Series X|S and PC.”
The game is optimized to run across various PCs. Esaki states, “We’ve optimized Forza Motorsport to look and play great across a wide range of PCs, taking advantage of cutting-edge PC hardware and technologies.”
Forza Motorsport will support cross-play and cross-progression across PC and console. Players on PC can now pre-order on the Microsoft Store and Steam, with the Premium Edition offering early access. Esaki confirmed, “Players on PC and Xbox Series X|S who pre-order the Forza Motorsport Premium Edition or upgrade to the Premium Add-Ons Bundle can play the full game up to 5 days early.”
Players can enjoy input remapping and support for popular racing wheels, including “rumble vibration on Xbox controllers and improved force-feedback for wheel users,” according to Esaki.
Forza players attending Gamescom can look forward to the Forza Motorsport theatre experience and a custom-wrapped 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S at the Xbox booth.
The addition of the Nürburgring GP circuit and the forthcoming Nordschleife track showcases Turn 10 Studios’ dedication to a constantly evolving racing experience. With new features and optimizations, the October 10 release promises to be key for racing enthusiasts.
