At first look, it seems like they have the same model with the suppressed SMG. However, the rate of fire seems a bit higher, and the damage reasonable, since the Tactical SMG was found to be too good and overpowered in certain circumstances. If you agree, it was a real laser, and we all had the wish to hold one in our hands.
Now let’s hop to the new SMG that arrived with the 5.0 content update. It seems like a decent gun, despite the fact it replaced the already proven laser potential of the Tac SMG. Regarding recoil, it’s way off than the Tac SMG, and it resembles the Suppressed one if not identical. We’ll have more time to spend in the future so we’ll conclude if any good comes out of the new SMG.
Now that the Tactical SMG has been Vaulted, it is maybe going to come back in a higher variant, such as only Epic and Legendary. The new SMG, however, comes in only three variants and that is Common, Uncommon and Rare.

- Uses Light Ammo.

- Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle damage increased to 75/78 from 63/66.
Fortnite also received new content in Save The World. The Drum Gun that was introduced into BR has now joined Save the World. Epic Games has also decided to crown the 5.0 content update with a discount of 50% of their Save The World version of the game.
